TLX Gold Insulating Breather Membrane is the only product of its type with BBA certification. In just a few steps this unique product improves the thermal value of your roof without a risk of condensation and with little or no change to the roof height.

TLX Gold is a breathable multi-foil that responds to changes in the environment. When humidity increases, the vapour permeability increases and similarly, when humidity goes down, the vapour permeability goes down.
The seven-layer composite structure, only 33mm thick, consists of a top layer high performance breather membrane, a core of PET wadding interleaved with reflective films and a bottom layer of reflective film. All layers are breathable, allowing moisture vapour to pass through.
Unlike standard non-breathable multifoil, TLX Gold removes the need for a separate ventilation gap.
All standard TLX Gold solutions come with guaranteed U-value calculations and condensation risk analysis per BS EN ISO 6946 and BS EN ISO 13788.
In 2010 revisions to Part L were introduced. When a house is re-roofed or at least 50% of the roof area repaired, a requirement is triggered in Part L1B to upgrade thermal performance.
